Dots, Lines, and Paper is run by a husband and wife team, Rich and Debs. We met at art college, so it only makes sense that we started a site focused on inspiration and tutorials for budding artists.

This is a little webcomic of me and Debs 🤗

Although we met at Art college, as we grew together, we found less and less time for art and creativity. Life got in the way, as they say.

We decided to start a site that could not only be a driver for us to start drawing again, but also to share our ideas with other people who love drawing, painting, and creating art.

We explore doodling, webcomics, drawing ideas, colouring pages, and even the odd tutorial for AI art (I know, I'm sorry). Aside from the images in those Midjourney tutorials, everything you see on this site is hand-drawn by me and Debs.
